Little Willow Montessori Pre-School

Little Willow Montessori Pre-school is one of a few accredited and authentic Montessori Schools in CapeTown, affiliated with the South African Montessori Association (SAMA:2006) and registered with the Western Cape Education Department (WCED). We welcome applications to our Toddler Montessori Programme (18 months - 3 years) and to our Pre-school Montessori Programme (3-6 years).

Students

We accept students from age twenty months to age three for our Toddler Program and ages three to six for our Kindergarten and Preschool program (accredited by WCED).

Grade R

Our Grade R programme is accredited by the Western Cape Education Department and the latter part of the programme is designed to prepare the learner for both the traditional and Montessori primary school environment.

We are a non-denominational school which aims to provide the finest education program based on the Montessori philosophy and methods for educating children.

Our Ideas

Since the opening Little Willow Montessori Pre-School, we have been guided by a few simple ideas: to develop the whole child, to provide a loving and nurturing environment for children to grow and learn, and to follow a true Montessori philosophy and curriculum.

Little Willow

Little Willow Montessori Pre-School is situated in a convenient location at 7 Carrington Avenue, Athlone, just metres from the Jan Smuts and Klipfontein main intersection. The school consists of five classrooms and a dining area. Outdoors, we have a secure classroom garden with flowers and plenty of space for playing in our fenced-in backyard.
